Join us for SELF-LOVEapalooza— a one-of-a-kind virtual festival celebrating YOU on National Self-Love Day February 13, 2025 and the power of Wholehearted Internal Love Development (W.I.L.D.) Love, an unconditional, transformative love you can give to yourself!!

This is your chance to inspire, empower, and connect with a global audience as we flip the script on Valentine’s Day and embrace joy, resilience, and unconditional self-love.

We’re looking for diverse individuals of all ability levels:

• Dancers to embody the energy of self-love prevailing in adversity.
• Singers and Musicians to uplift and inspire through song and sound.
• Spoken Word Poets to deliver powerful messages that challenge, heal, and transform.
• Artists and Writers to showcase works celebrating self-discovery, love, and resilience.
• Photographers to visually capture the essence of self-love and resilience in adversity.
• Filmmakers to create engaging content that empowers and inspires.
• Actors to perform scenes that celebrate personal growth, resilience, and empowerment.
• Comedians to bring laughter and lightheartedness to the celebration!

Theme: practicing self-love in the face of adversity that results in self-discovery, empowerment, or resilience.

• Deadline: January 15, 2025
• Age: at least 18 years old by January 15, 2025
• Guidelines: SELF-LOVEapalooza is a family environment; all content must be clean. Profanity, inappropriate or offensive language, nudity or sexually explicit scenes, and strong violence are prohibited.  Explicit content is not allowed. All content must be original work or the performer holds the license/permission to perform the work.
• Format: Submit a video, written work, or portfolio as outlined below showcasing your talent and telling us how it connects to the theme and/or prompt.
• For Dancers: 1:30 (one minute thirty seconds) video performance
• For Singers/Musicians/Spoken Word Poets: 1:30 (one minute thirty seconds) video performing an original work
• For Actors: 1:30 (one minute thirty seconds) video performing a monologue, two-person, or three-person dialogue, either original or from a work in the public domain
• For Comedians: 1:30 (one minute thirty seconds) short set or joke series of original material
• For Filmmakers: 0:30 to 2:00 (30 seconds to two minutes) original short film (does not have to be a polished work as there will be time prior to the event date to polish)
• For Writers: 1000 words or less original essay, short story, article, or blog post
• For Artists/Photographers: portfolio of up to 10 works

• Notification Date: January 18-22, 2025
• Live Performance Rehearsals: January 23 – February 12. We will make every effort to provide multiple options to accommodate various time zones and scheduling needs.
• Pre-Recorded Performances: due January 26, 2025. To stay within strict time limits, most performances will be included as a pre-recorded package.
• Film Shorts: final polished work due January 26, 2025.
• Art/Photography/Written Works: final polished works due January 26, 2025.
